Zandoli is a spacious, Balinese style, airy, four bedroom (sleeps 8) two-storey wooden villa on Pigeon Beach Road with swimming pool and landscaped private grounds.

Standing on a gently sloping hillside within the National Parkland of Historic English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard, the lovely sandy beach at Pigeon Point (voted one of the ten best beaches in the Caribbean) is just 2 minutes walk away.

Beautifully designed and built in traditional Caribbean style, Zandoli has painted Jalousie wooden shuttered doors and windows to catch the breeze, ceiling fans and large shady verandas with south westerly sunset views across Falmouth Harbour towards Rendezvous Bay.

Comfortably appointed with Balinese teak furniture, the house has a well equipped open-plan kitchen and two separate lounge areas, with the lower lounge converting into an additional sleeping area for two. In the private grounds, there is a stunning, large swimming pool and terraced area, two pavilions and an outdoor kitchen / barbecue.

Zandoli is set in a quiet location, yet within walking distance of all the facilities at Antigua Yacht Club and the Marina, and the restaurants, bars and cafés of English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard.

Zandoli is comfortably appointed with four double bedrooms, each with en-suite shower-rooms. The master bedroom boasts a Califonia King four poster while the remainder are King sized beds. All beds have mosquito nets. Bathroom 1 also has a double bathtub. There are two lounge areas, one of which can be converted to additional sleeping for two. The open plan kitchen upstairs leads out onto the dining area on the upper veranda; with its large round table and seating for up to ten people. All four bedrooms have carved Balinese hardwood four-poster beds and all have fitted double wardrobes.

The large, newly built pool is a refreshing addition to the house and has central steps leading off a terraced sunbathing area with two double cabanas to while away the day and several other freestanding sunbeds. There is a separate outdoor WC and a second outdoor shower.

The large outdoor dining pavilion with delightful views to the sea seats 12 and includes fitted bar area and bar stools backing on to an outdoor kitchen, which has a large barbecue, sink, fridge, preparation area and water cooler.

Newly landscaped and illuminated gardens around the house are planted with a variety of tropical plants including cactus, palms, banana trees, frangipani and bougainvillea and tended by the gardener who comes three days a week.

Our housekeeper Fiona will greet clients at the house to demonstrate all the facilities and provides three days a week maid-service to clean, change beds and towels and do the house laundry. Fiona can work more days, shop and do personal laundry if needed and this can be negotiated separately.

 

Ground Floor:

Entrance hallway with Bedrooms 2 and 3 accessed from the lounge area. All three rooms have folding doors which open out onto the veranda, with steps down to the garden. There is also a further separate WC and stairs leading to the upper floor. The two sofas in the lounge area can be converted into two full sized single beds.

Upper Floor:

Open plan lounge and kitchen area, pantry and master bedroom. All with folding doors opening onto the upper veranda and dining area with seating for ten.

The Villa is not configured to be totally accessible to persons with disabilities. No smoking is allowed inside the Villa and no parties, gatherings or events are permitted without prior arrangement.

All prices are in US$, Special PEAK Rates apply for: Holidays, ACYS, Carnival and all Regattas of a minimum of a 7 night rental.  The Tourist Levy of US$5 per person per night will be collected during your stay.
