Wit’s End is a new build European style house with 4 large bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, a large living room, spacious kitchen, a covered outside dining area and an expansive veranda with sprawling countryside views of the Piccadilly valley and benefits from a cooling breeze.  

The house is located behind Cobbs Cross and is a three minute drive from English Harbour, Nelson’s Dockyard and beaches.  It was completed in 2023 and is built to a high specification with impact resistant windows and doors, and insulated ceilings that allow for efficient air conditioning through the bedrooms, kitchen and living room. 

The property is fully enclosed by a wall and accessed via an electric opening gate.  There is ample parking area for several cars and an extensive garden.

On entering the property on the ground floor there is spacious hallway with a cloakroom and a big, useful utility room, equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and a fridge freezer.  

Stairs lead up from the hallway to the kitchen upstairs, the spacious kitchen has extensive granite countertops and an island with stools for seating. It is equipped with new appliances, a large American style fridge freezer, 2 dishwashers, a double oven, microwave, gas hob, two sinks and a smart TV.  

Views through the window are of the valley and an access door to the veranda and dining area.

Inside, the kitchen opens out to the large living room, with a large sectional 8 place sofa and two armchairs, with a big coffee table and a 50” smart TV. Sliding glass doors open out on to the covered dining area and the Veranda beyond, all with sweeping country views.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed, a chest of drawers, a dressing table with a mirror, a wall mounted Smart TV, and accent chair, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom.  There are sliding glass doors opening out onto the veranda with views of the Valley.

Guest bedroom 1, is a good sized bedroom with Queen sized bed, a chest of drawers, a double wardrobe with hanging space and an accent chair, it has a glass door out on to its own private veranda. (room to add a single bed as well)

Guest bedroom 3 (Prior Notice required) is located on the lower floor in what may one day be a self contained apartment.  The bedroom is accessed via the entrance hallway and a large room that can be used for an additional spacious area.  This area and bedroom are not air-conditioned at the time of writing

'Wits End' can be rented as a 2, 3 or 4 (with prior notice) bedroom option.

The master is a fixed Kingsize bed, Bedrooms 2 and 3 can be just queens or queens with an additional single bed to accommodate varying group configurations such as crew, friends or children.  Bedroom 4 is on the lower level and can be a queen or twins.  All bedrooms except Bedroom 4 have air con.

The master bedroom has en suite facilities, whilst bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom, Bedroom 4 downstairs has an en suite bathroom but no Aircon.

The Master bed has a TV, All TV's have either Firesticks or Apple TV boxes.

The property has both US style 110V outlets and European style 220v Outlets as well as USB sockets within the outlets.

The well equipped and very modern kitchen has a breakfast table for four built into the huge island. It comes complete with an oven / stove, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, TV and more. The kitchen has its own exit to the gallery but also is adjacent to the living room where there are doors that lead you though to the outside dining verandah and view.

The living room is large with plenty of seating.  There is a TV located here

The property is air conditioned throughout, less the downstairs hallway but this is cooled via the stairwell from the kitchen.

Wits End is situated on a fully fenced property. You have your own private parking area and gallery deck complete with outside furniture to sit and relax and soak up the glorious views and cooling breeze, the peacefully located Wits End is the ideal base for an Antiguan vacation rental.

You are only a short drive away from all of the amenities within English and Falmouth Harbours, including 3 supermarkets and a vast selection of excellent restaurants and bars.

Historical Nelsons Dockyard is a must for sightseeing. Beautiful and popular Pigeon and Galleon Beaches are a mere 5 minute drive away from the villa.
