Villa Caribbena is a newly built, four bedroomed 3,000 sq. ft villa together with a separate one bedroom apartment. 

 

The villa is located a couple of minutes’ walk from English Harbour, the famous thriving yachting centre of the Caribbean, with its many bars and restaurants. Our closeness to the Harbour means that you’ll also be able to experience its excellent historic centre, Nelson’s Dockyard. Villa Caribbena is also just five minutes drive and from Shirley Heights and from two superb local beaches, Pigeon Beach and Galleon Beach.

Villa Caribbena Description

 

Villa Caribbena is a recently constructed, perfectly designed, well-built quality villa, with a blend of modern comfort and traditional West Indian architecture. Perfectly situated on the hill, the property takes full advantage of the ever-present cooling trade winds. 

 

The Villa has its own car parking area behind security gates.

 

Services include government power and water, solar power plus high-speed fibre broadband.  The property has its own backup generator capable of providing power to ensure there is no disruption to guests’ requirements.

 

Maid service is included twice a week during your stay but is available every day at extra cost if you wish. In case of any issues or advice the local management team are available 24/7.

The main living area is situated on the upper level, providing expansive views of the harbour, with a huge central living area including a modern well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, high-end 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher and stunning custom granite countertops.  A washing machine is also available for guests’ use.

 

The main villa is both wheelchair accessible and wheelchair friendly.

 

Ceiling fans and a large air conditioning unit keep the air space cool in the central living space.

The Main Villa 

The Main Villa  has a large open plan living space including:

 

Fully fitted kitchen with two large fridge freezers, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave oven, washing machine and filter and pod coffee machines.  The kitchen is fully stocked for the very busiest of chefs.

 

Dining table  to comfortably seat 10 people.  A high chair is also kept at the property.

 

Large seating area with corner sofa and separate 3 seater sofa.  An electric piano is available for your use.  Fully stocked with board games, books and children’s

 

Disabled access The main villa is all on one level and is accessible by wheelchair from the car park into the open plan living space.

Four very good-sized en-suite bedrooms lead off each corner of the open living space, the front two bedrooms having sliding doors opening up onto the outside covered deck living area, having glorious views of the harbour allowing for perfect sunset experiences.

 

There is a four-poster bed in the master bedroom and all other bedrooms can be configured as a super-king or as a twin bedroom.

All bedrooms within the main villa have built in wardrobe and chest of drawer, are air conditioned with separate ceiling fans and have a wall mounted TV.

 

All ensuite bathrooms feature a walk in shower with large rose shower heads, double sink vanity units and toilet.

Self-contained apartment

The self-contained apartment below the main villa has its own entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove, fridge freezer and microwave oven, a separate air conditioned bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a double sofa bed in the living area, an additional washing machine and a 2,000 sq ft covered patio and furnished seating area.

The bedroom can be configured as a super-king or as a twin bedroom.

Outside

Caribbena is south west facing with fantastic sweeping views from Falmouth Harbour to English Harbour and the Antigua Yacht Club all the way across to Nelson’s Dockyard with perfect sunset experiences.

 

The infinity pool on the front deck, and 14 foot deep covered wrap-around verandah with numerous seating areas, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the best villas that English Harbour has to offer.

 

The main outdoor dining table is on the front deck, along with an elegant sun bed area, driftwood bar table/chairs and comfortable sofas and lounge chairs . A BBQ and plancha are available for use by guests.

 

One of the side decks is used as a games area with a table tennis table and table football.

Services

The property has high speed fibre internet, solar power and grid power and its own backup generator capable of providing suitable power to negate any disruption to the guests requirements.

 

Housekeeping staff will be available for pre-arranged periods during your stay. 

 

In case of any issues or advice the local management team are available if required 24/7.

Peak Periods - All Regattas, ACYS, Carnival, Xmas and New Year (18 Dec - 5 Jan)
